During the month of January the whole school kept track of how many minutes they read at home. Each minute was then added to make hours, and those hours of reading were turned into snowballs. Each child used their snowball to make three giant snowmen on our Gym wall. We then celebrated this reading as a whole school by wearing our hat, scarves and best winter gear, enjoying a popsicle, and reading as a whole community during the last 1/2 hour of our day. What a Blizzard of Books!
Please join us at the Sandoz Media Center for Story Time. If you have children at home that are not school-aged yet bring them to the Sandoz Library on the following dates for Circle of Friends Story Time, an activity and check out. All Circle of Friends Story Times begin at 10am.
